Members
I attended the OA meeting on Jan 4, 2004, at Covenant
Presbyterian Church. The Chapter meets
on the 1st and 3rd Sundays, from 4 – 5 pm. The first meeting of the month is primarily
business and the second meeting of the month is primarily a project. For Jan 18th, the members will be
working on developing their ceremony teams for this year and looking at all the
Indian costumes, etc. If you want to be
considered for a ceremony team, please attend on the 18th or send
the Chapter Chief an email: Garret
Severson, phoenix_13@comcast.net.
News from the Jan 4th meeting is summarized
below:
- Unit
elections are coming up and our troop elections must be held before April
1. Bobby and his dad have beent
trained to do elections, and we are looking for volunteers. If you want to help with electgions,
contact Bobby. Our troop
representatives will hold an election for another troop and the other
troop will hold our election. We
need to schedule our election to try to ensure at least 50% of our
chartered youth present. This will
be difficult since the 50% attendance includes our youth who are not yet
21.
